Life doesn’t change a whole lot during quarantine. We all still have responsibilities sure but we can’t realy go anywhere.

By now I’m sure there’s a butt print in everyone’s chair at home, that one spot where everything happens. It’s unavoidable, but for right now, life happens in that spot.

Homemade pasta

Many Americans, including myself grew up on the various store-bought forms of pasta. Kraft Mac and Cheese is a staple of the average American child’s diet, but its crazy unhealthy, despite how easy it is to make.

So today I’ll be showing everyone at home my personal recipe for homemade macaroni. This is a special pasta that I created myself and is a fun treat to make during quarantine. There are many ingredients that are optional, including the hot sauces, jalapeños, spices and choice of cheeses. But if made the way I make it, it’s a delicious, carb heavy dinner. Have fun and good luck with your own homemade recipes.

The popularity of comics

For a long time comic books and related media were considered to only be for nerds and overall a niche genre. In the last several years though, beginning in the 2010’s and the rise of the Marvel Cinematic Universe comic book media has become so much more popular in the public eye and pop culture in general. Unknown B list character such as Iron Man and Deadpool and Harley Quinn have become household names. Several source have compiled the below data to show exactly how popular and well known these characters are and have been.

The frozen lakes of Michigan

Michigan comes from the Ojibwe word meaning “Large Lake” which is fitting because there are over 11,000 lakes in Michigan. In addition to four of the five Great Lakes, which are the largest freshwater lakes in the world Michigan has hundreds of lakes, ponds and rivers which are currently frozen in this icy winter.

With so many natural lakes in our state it’s a shame that the cold keeps so many indoors, so take this chance to get outside and see these beautiful frozen water formations.

While the Great Lakes will never freeze so much to walk on, there are literally thousands of lakes in Michigan which are in prime condition skating, hockey, ice fishing and for the brave of heart ice trucking.

Take your chance to interact with these lakes before they thaw or risk waiting another year before getting your chance at these and many more frozen activities.
